Members, roles, and invitations
Open Team Management > Members to review people and pending invitations. Only users with the required organization permission can invite members or change roles.
Invite someone
- Choose the invitation action and enter the invitee's address or identity requested by the form.
- Select the least-privileged role that supports the work. The available roles can include owner, admin, member, viewer, guest, or organization-defined roles.
- Confirm the organization and send the invitation. The invitation reserves a seat when seat management applies.
- The recipient opens the invitation link, signs in or creates an account, and accepts it. A pending invitation is not an active member until the acceptance flow completes.
Roles and status
Review role and status together. Active, suspended, pending, or removed membership states have different effects. Changing a person's role applies to organization actions and may change what they can see in projects. Do not promote a member solely to bypass a missing permission; grant only the authority needed.
Revoke or transfer
Use the row actions to revoke a pending invitation or update membership when authorized. Ownership transfer is a separate, high-impact action: verify the destination person and organization first, and check project and billing responsibilities before confirming.
Invitation troubleshooting
If the link has expired or was revoked, ask an administrator to issue a new invitation. If acceptance reports the wrong organization or account, sign out and reopen the invitation with the intended account. Never forward a private invitation link to a public channel.
